イェンスの残像、
ある日目にしたその服は、空間の一部として在った。
美しくもどこか距離のあるもの。
暫くして、この服に袖を通す日が訪れる。
それは、想像していたものとまるで違っていた。
潔い直線は、柔らかな曲線となり身体を包み、
生地は滑らかに、温かな血の流れるものとして肌を映してくれる。
自分への親しみと、服からの悦びを知らせてくれるものだった。
服は、着る者によって如何様にも変化し、
私たちは、服によって如何様にも変わることができる。


今展では、19SSと、礼服としての機能を持つ
コンポジションラインをご紹介致します。
また、革製品を中心に、イェンスと共に物作りをされてきた
ロフミアにご一緒して頂きます。
空間や身体とものの関係を探り、
馬革など軽量且つ良質な素材を用いた、
印象的な製品を作られています。
軽やかな生地を用いた Jens×rofmiaの共作も、
初お披露目となる予定です。

2014年スタート。
コンテンポラリーなドレスをコンセプトに、時間や場所、着用者によって変容する上質なワードローブを提案している。
1 コンポジション = 部品としてのドレス
2 レギュラー = 日常的なドレス
3 シーゾナル = 変化を象徴するドレス
アイテムを3つのラインに分類し、多分野の作家・デザイナーと共に制作・発表を行う。

rofmia｜ロフミア
岐阜県美濃加茂市・中山道太田宿。元呉服屋を改修し、デザイン、パターン、縫製、販売までを一貫して行う。
目の前を木曽川が流れる豊かな自然の中に身を置き、日本建築の空間と歴史ある街並みに於いて、無理のない製品作りを目指している。

Afterimage of Jens, the particular piece I saw one day existed as a part of the space. It was beautiful yet somewhat distant. After a while, the day came when I had a chance to try the piece on. And it was a totally different experience than what I had imagined. Clean, strong straight lines turn into soft curves to envelope the body, and the smooth cloth reflects one’s skin as warm-blooded entity. It was something that let you notice your own familiarity to yourself, and the joy it was being delivered from the clothing itself. Clothing, is a thing that change into anything with the people wearing them, and we are also able to change into anything with what we wear.

In this exhibition, we will be introducing their 2019 Spring / Summer lines, and their Composition line in which they have function in ceremonial occasions. Also, we will be showing leather products from rofmia, who has been in production with Jens. Delving into relationships between things, bodies, and space, using light and high quality materials like horse leather, rofmia creates impressive and memorable works. We will be for the first time, introducing the collaborations by Jens x rofmia utilizing light and airy materials. We hope you will visit us to discover and enjoy these two young budding brands.
