私たちの感じる心地の良さ、に直結している。
しかもこの革新は、驚く程快適さの質を上げている。
目の付け所が、洒落ているのだ。
そうして生まれた服は、身体から一枚離れて存在する。
個のシルエットは穏やかに包まれ、
着物のように個の動き、所作を際立たせる。
変化し続け動き続ける、ひとの輪郭を作る服なのだ。
だから私たちは、着ていることをちゃんと意識し、
意識しつつ身を任せることが出来る。

ヒムカシ｜東出結城・麻里子
製作は産地に赴き素材を作るところから始まり、服飾設計（パターン）の技術を基本に組み立てる。素材の特徴を引き出す目的から生まれる簡易構造と楽しく映るデザインはまるで折り紙の様で、洋服のみならず眼鏡、靴、靴下まで幅広く展開しています。

ROWENA SARTIN｜Kristin Dickson
通常の洋服の持つ一般的なデザインに、独自の視点から新たなデザインの実践を試みる、Kristin Dickson（ロサンゼルス）によるデザインプロジェクト。ボリューム、シルエット、バランス、素材感との自由な戯れの行為を通じて、微妙な意味合いのズレを創りだし、些細な毎日の生活に固有の”私”を表現できるデザインを目指している。

One sees fair amount of unfamiliar terms in Himukashi’s Himukashi’s clothing lines. But these terms connect directly with sevaral facts , like how their clothing is light and easy to move around in, howthey are breeze when it comes to washing, and how comfortable we feel in them. And on top of that, this innovation has dramatically raised the quality in comfort department.

They seem to have very snazzy point of view. The clothing born out of such a place has a presence of its own away from our body. They quietly envelope each silhouette, while making each movement and gesture stand out like kimono. Constantly changing and moving, they are clothing that build contours of the people. Therefore, we can forget that we are wearing them, while still conscious of their existence.

We hope you will come to feel Himukashi Seizu’s clothing yourselves!

Production starts with traveling to a locale where material is going to be created, and it proceeds along based on the technology needed for a particular pattern of the piece. Simple structures aimed at highlighting particular characteristics of the material and their light-hearted design evoke origami creations. On top of the clothing lines, they offer wider collections like eyewear, shoes, and socks.

A design project by Kristin Dickson, in which she attempts to bring in a new point of view to the generic world of design. Through platful interactions with volume, silhouette, balance, and feel of the material, she creates subtle shifts in the meaning. Her design aspires to express the unique “me” in mandane everyday life.
